Dr. Victor Rusenescu, DPT

Dr. Victor Rusenescu, DPT is a native of Southern Orange County, California. He received his doctoral degree in 2007 from Loma Linda University. He started his passion for providing quality care in 1999 and has over 19 years’ experience in the field of physical therapy.
In addition to treating patients, Victor spends time building knowledge, both in Physical Therapy and related subjects such as sporting articles, food and diet recipes and new findings on techniques and strategies to continually advance his practice. This gives him the capacity and intuition to make clinical judgments and treatments to help specific clients when needed.
Victor not only shares his passion, knowledge, experience with his clients – he empathizes and relates due to his love for the outdoors and sports. He is an athlete himself and lives a very active lifestyle, including cycling, running, golfing and tennis. A lot of what his clients suffer from, he may have gone through himself and knows what it takes to get through the aches and pains to be able to avoid surgeries, injections or invasive procedures. He practices a holistic rehab process/approach daily, which is what he wants to teach and promote to his clients.
He and his wife, Janet, are committed to making OCPT a clinic based around helping others better themselves in regaining their everyday lives back. Janet is also in the healthcare field and works as a Perinatal RN at a local hospital. Together, Victor and Janet are dedicated to the service of helping others.
Dr. Haze Hernandez, DPT
(Bilingual in English & Spanish)
Haze received his bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis on Pre-Physical Therapy in 2011. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015 from the University of Central Arkansas. Haze has experience and training in several fields of Physical Therapy including acute care, rehabilitation, and even home health.
However, Haze’s passion and area of expertise is outpatient orthopedics. He enjoys the variety the setting offers and the wide-array of clients that he can help along their recovery journey. Haze is energized by helping every individual navigate their unique recovery process and loves being able to help clients find joy in the activities they love once again, pain-free. Outside of the clinic, you can find Haze doing some road cycling or enjoying the outdoors with his wife Cat and pup Beau.
Dr. David Enfinger, DPT, OCS
David was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention at the University of Southern California. He has found his undergraduate studies have enabled him to assist patients in making life changes, for health and physical transformation.
Later, David pursued his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Southern California. He gained experience in ACL reconstruction at USC’s Human Performance Laboratory, while participating in research on “Macro- and Micro-Morphological Characteristics of PatellarTendons Following Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction”. David also has experience in rehabbing baseball injuries and return to sport, while interning with the Cleveland Indians. He has also served as a board member for a California Non-Profit 501(c)(3), Movement Alliance, that focuses on preventive care and education for youth coaches and athletes.
David utilizes his manual therapy, movement analysis assessment (CAFS), strengthening exercises, and movement retraining to meet each patient’s goals. He strives to bring a positive and caring energy to his practice, and feels blessed to be a part of each person’s road to recovery. In his free time, you can find David walking his dog around the back bay, at a HITT or Spin class, watching basketball and football, and trying local food spots.
Dr. Tyler Saude, DPT
Tyler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in Austin, TX at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He has experience working in a variety of settings including orthopedic clinics and acute care. These experiences have helped him find his passion for working with the outpatient orthopedic population.
Tyler is very enthusiastic about health and wellness and loves to assist clients in returning to the things that they enjoy most in life. Taking a holistic approach to physical therapy, he focuses treatment on manual therapy, functional movement assessments, neuromuscular re-education, and individualized therapeutic exercises. In his free time, you will find Tyler at the gym, playing or watching all types of sports, or hanging out on the beach.
Stephanie Kodama - Lead Clinic Administrator
Stephanie Kodama has 10 years of administrative experience with 5 of those years in Healthcare Administration. She started her administrative career in 2010, and never looked back. Her passion for administration and organization only excelled when she moved on to the Healthcare field.
Her drive to help others, pushed her to do more on the administrative side to make sure patients could receive the best health care possible at all times. In her home life, Stephanie has a daughter who is 10 years old and is the light of her life. They can both be found running miles around town, and their goal is to both run a half marathon together by the time her daughter is 15!
Shelby Detmers - Administrator
Shelby Detmers is a native to Newport Beach. She is also a professional surfer and will be representing México in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for surfing. She has always been interested in how the body works and got even more interested after getting injured surfing and went through the process of physical therapy.
She found that it definitely helped her reach her goals to get back on the surfing tour and feels like she came back stronger and how physical therapy really does work. After professional surfing and the Olympics she would like to explore more of becoming a physical therapist.
Ilene Perez - Administrator
Ilene was introduced to the healthcare industry at an early age by her mother who was a nurse. She always had an interest in health and started in the medical field in 2007 learning about physiotherapy and exercise. She eventually transitioned into insurance and verification to further develop her skills and knowledge in healthcare.
She enjoys helping patients and continues to pursue her interests in the medical world. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors and going camping with her family.
Jenae Pantle - Administrator
Jenae was born and raised in a small town in Northern California and played sports her entire life. She wanted to further her softball career so she went to school in South Dakota to finished out her college softball years and then transferred to Grand Canyon University to get her bachelors degree in Sports Management. She moved to Southern California in 2017 and continues to play softball and has picked up beach flag football.
Since being down here she has gotten into the health service field and has been enjoying that for the last couple of years. Most recently Jenae joined the Air Force Reserve and loves being able to help others and stay in the medical field.
Selena Cofinco - Personal Trainer
Certified Balance & Mobility Specialist
Selena was born and raised in Southern Orange County with her brother and sister. In 2016, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Gerokinesiology from California State University Fullerton (CSUF). Throughout her educational years she underwent training through the Center for Successful Aging.
This is where she learned to adopt a whole-person wellness training philosophy. She understands that everyone has their own abilities and her approach is gradual. Selena aims to appropriately challenge her clients while also fostering a positive environment. She was also trained in FallProof™, a certified program for Balance and Mobility that aims to reduce the risks of falls. In Fall 2019 she decided to pursue her Master’s degree in Kinesiology at CSUF. Selena is seeking to expand her knowledge in her field and contribute to academia research. To further her learning Selena feels that working at OCPT is a great opportunity to apply her knowledge.
Since 2017 she has been serving the city of Newport Beach training older adults at Oasis Senior Center. In August 2019 Selena had ankle surgery which severely limited her physical activity and affected her both mentally and physically. Through her recovery she learned the importance of the rehabilitation process. She is driven to design and implement a fitness program that is safe, effective, goal-driven, and addresses movement compensations. Through her programming, she hopes to improve the quality of life and encourage her clients to move every day. Her passion is to help others improve their overall fitness and guide individuals toward a healthy lifestyle. Outside of training, Selena enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and playing soccer.
Al Jamm received his Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and has acquired over a decade of experience in the Health and Fitness Industries. Having worked with various populations from collegiate athletes and seniors; to teenagers and weight loss clients, Al's passion is to help his clients bring awareness to their wellness, posture and eating habits.
Al is a certified Fitness Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and specializes in corrective exercise techniques. He believes that understanding the body's muscular imbalances and correcting movement compensations are crucial to eliminate pain, restore mobility and enhance the overall quality in one's everyday life.
